
News that Sony is developing a new controller hot on the heels of the DUALSHOCK 3, has been spreading like wildfire. The latest information reveals that the controller may be 'break-apart', allowing a piece in each hand. And wait for it, each piece will be fully equiped with motion sensing capabilities. This development is at the moment 'hush-hush' and Sony is apparently shipping prototypes to select developers. Will this controller rival the Nintendo Wii remote?
If so it may become obvious that at present Sony is leading the way with games technology... that is that the PS3 currently features Blu-Ray media, SIX-AXIS, connectivity with the PSP, the PSN system and many other concepts on the way. (read more @ PALGN)
